The Hinesville Housing Authority is committed to being the premier provider of affordable housing and creator of sustainable communities for people of all incomes and backgrounds. We perform the following checks on all applicants who submit an application for housing.
Rental History Background Check
You must provide addresses and telephone numbers for the past two landlords from whom you rented. If you cannot do so, we will require three character reference letters. At least one letter must be from a reputable agency or other agencies, such as your employer, a church, social worker, doctor, business contact, etc.
We will perform a credit check on all applicants. Each credit check will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
A criminal background check will be performed on each applicant over the age of 18 to determine if there is a history of violent crime or drug activity.

Submit your application to the Hinehouse Property Management & Maintenance Services Office at 100 Regency Place, Hinesville, GA 31313. Our office is open 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
