In 2017, the Hinesville Housing Authority completed a 5-year strategic plan to guide the growth of the organization.

The current plan is effective for 2017–2020 and focuses on the following areas:

As of June 2018, the Hinesville Housing Authority is pleased to announce the following strategic accomplishments:

Developed HHA into a Non-Profit Full Service Residential Management and Property Development Corporation that provides affordable housing development, maintenance and property management services

Reviewed bylaws

Secured development property

Developed maintenance policy

Aligned HHA and its subsidiaries with Hinesville Building Codes for maintenance and safety purposes

Completed After School Program for 2017-2018 school year

Began 2018 Summer Camp for 50 students

Implemented GED Training Program

Implemented Self-Esteem Workshop for youth

Implemented Monthly Resident Meeting for life skills training and program evaluations

Partnered with Quad E to provide on-site Resident Health and Wellness Center (Urgent Care facility)

Donated $10,000.00 to be allocated to the United Way – Liberty County for families displaced by Hurricane Maria ($5,000.00) and families that reside in Liberty County ($5,000.00) that maybe incurring financial hardship with utility deposits or payments

Implemented new brand to reflect full range of services provided by HHA and its subsidiaries

Employed email marketing and social media marketing tools to communicate with residents and community

Updated job descriptions and education/training plan for all positions

Reviewed employee benefits plans and providers

Developed partnership with Changing Homelessness in Jacksonville, FL

Employed online systems for applications and payments

Purchase new fleet for HPMMS to provide services to Hinesville/Liberty County community
